How tool rent works

Tool Rent gives you time-limited access to a tool login (for example a box or dongle software account) for the duration you choose.

• Pick a duration and pay; your credentials appear on the order page straight away and are emailed to you.
• The countdown starts when you're given access. When it ends, access closes and we change the password.
• Only one customer can hold a login at a time, so if a tool shows out of stock, all its logins are currently rented.
• Extending a running rental isn't supported yet — order a new rental once the first one ends.

Rented access can't be refunded once issued (see the Refund Policy). If something is wrong with the login, contact support before the rental expires.
